Starting September

Every successful fitness journey starts with understanding where you are today. At Pittsburgh Fitness Project, we believe the best coaching begins with a complete picture of who you are, what your goals are, and what steps will help you get there. Beginning in September, we are launching an updated Fitness Assessment process designed to provide a more personalized and effective experience for every member.

Why Assessments Matter

A great training program is built on information. Before creating a plan, coaches need to understand your current abilities, your goals, your movement patterns, and your previous experience. Without that information, it becomes much harder to create the right strategy.

Our new assessment process allows our coaches to better answer important questions:

  • What are your goals?

  • What areas need improvement?

  • What type of training will work best for you?

  • How can we measure success?

Instead of simply showing up for workouts, members will have a clear roadmap.

A More Convenient Digital Process

One of the biggest improvements coming in September is how assessments are completed. All assessment forms will now be automatically sent to clients through Mindbody before their appointment. Members will be asked to complete their assessment before arriving at PFP. This allows your coach to review your information ahead of time and spend your appointment focused on coaching, discussion, and planning.

Less paperwork. More coaching.

What's Included in Your New Assessment

The updated Fitness Assessment will include several components designed to give a complete picture of your fitness.

Goal Setting: We want to understand what success looks like for you. Whether your goal is losing body fat, gaining strength, improving performance, or simply feeling better, your goals will guide your training plan.

Movement Review: Movement quality plays an important role in long-term progress. Your coach will evaluate movement patterns and identify areas where improvements can help you train more effectively.

Strength Review: Understanding your current strength levels allows coaches to create appropriate programming and track improvement over time.

InBody 270 Scan: The assessment will also include an InBody 270 body composition scan, providing valuable information beyond what a traditional scale can show.

Creating a Clear Path Forward

After completing your assessment, your coach will help determine the best next step for your training. That may include continuing with your current plan, making adjustments, exploring additional coaching options, or discussing new opportunities available at PFP. Our goal is not to sell you something you don't need. Our goal is to make sure your training matches your goals.

Every Member Gets a Fresh Start

Whether you've been with PFP for years or recently joined our community, September provides an opportunity to reset, reassess, and refocus. Your goals may have changed. Your fitness level may have improved. Your schedule may look different. Your training should evolve with you.

The updated assessment process gives us the information needed to continue providing the highest level of coaching possible. We are excited to meet with every member, review your progress, and help you create your next plan for success. Your next chapter starts with your next assessment.
