A New Era of Personalized Coaching

At Pittsburgh Fitness Project, our mission has always been simple: help people become stronger, healthier, and more confident through expert coaching and a supportive community.

As we continue to grow, we are always looking for ways to improve the experience we provide our members. Beginning in September, we are introducing several exciting changes designed to make your training more personalized, your progress easier to track, and your membership more valuable than ever.

These updates are the next step in our commitment to moving beyond simply providing workouts. We want to provide a complete coaching experience that helps every member understand where they are, where they want to go, and exactly how to get there.

A More Personalized Approach to Fitness

Every person who walks through our doors has a different story.

Some members are looking to lose weight. Others want to build strength, improve athletic performance, move better, or simply stay active and healthy as they age. The best training plan is not one-size-fits-all—it is one that adapts to the individual.

Starting in September, we are improving our assessment process to make sure every member has a clear plan based on their goals, abilities, and progress.

Introducing a New Assessment Process

One of the biggest changes coming to PFP is our updated Fitness Assessment process.

All members will complete a new assessment designed to give our coaches a better understanding of your current starting point. This process will include goal setting, movement evaluation, strength review, and body composition tracking through our new InBody 270 system.

Before your appointment, assessments will now be sent automatically through Mindbody. Members will complete the forms digitally before arriving, allowing coaches to spend more time reviewing results and having meaningful conversations instead of completing paperwork.

Better Progress Tracking Through Data

One of the biggest challenges in fitness is knowing whether your plan is working.

Many people rely only on the scale or how they feel day-to-day. While those things matter, they don't always tell the full story.

Starting this fall, PFP will use more data-driven tools to help members understand their progress. Through regular assessments and InBody scans, we will be able to track changes over time and make smarter adjustments to your training.

Progress is not always linear. Sometimes the biggest wins happen through improvements in strength, muscle development, movement quality, consistency, and confidence.

Our goal is to help you see the full picture.

More Coaching, More Accountability

Fitness results come from consistency and having the right support system.

These updates will allow our coaches to spend more time helping members stay accountable, adjust their training, and overcome obstacles before they become setbacks.

The September changes are not about adding more complexity—they are about creating a clearer path forward.
