We're thrilled to welcome Catessa Guadagnoli, our new Social Media Manager, to the PFP team!

Hello PFP Family! My name is Catessa Guadagnoli, and I am so happy to be the Social Media Manager for Pittsburgh Fitness Project. I am from Center Township and have been involved in sports my entire life. I have recently graduated from the Community College of Beaver County with an associate’s degree in communications and will be starting as a full-time student at Robert Morris University to achieve my B.A.in News and Sports Communication.

I am a national level Olympic weightlifter, with hopes of representing Team USA one day. I have been in the sport for over 7 years, and training at PFP Barbell for almost 3 years. Additionally, I have my Level 1 coaching certificate in Olympic Weightlifting as well. I would encourage anyone who is able to try Olympic weightlifting for just one day. It is truly an exciting and fulfilling sport like no other.

I love finding the fun in the sport and use that to fuel my social media content. It is not always about how heavy the weight is or how cool you look. For me, it all comes down to sharing how much fun you can have and finding the light in difficult things. My passion is using social media as a tool to show young people that athletes come in all shapes and sizes, and that being physically and mentally strong can be portrayed in so many ways. Being an athlete on social media does not mean we have to look or fit into certain boxes.

My goal is to help make the Pittsburgh Fitness Project social media reflect the root of who we are as a gym: Real people and their real stories. Every person who walks in the gym’s doors has a different journey, and I will strive to capture any part of that, big or small.

I can’t wait to see you around the gym! Please feel free to stop me any time or reach out to me at catessa@pittsburghfitnessproject.com

I am grateful to be taking on this role to showcase our authentic community.
