Meet Sasha Harkleroad

My name is Sasha, and I am a licensed massage therapist. I have recently joined along with the Pittsburgh Fitness Project, and I am excited to be a part of the team. I can’t wait to join this community - here’s a bit more about myself!

I started my career in the healthcare industry as a caregiver. I worked with children all the way up to senior citizens. I love helping people as much as I can. It was a very difficult position, but it was worth it. I wanted to help people in a different way, away that would lessen the pain or the stress from daily living.

I saw my chance to go to school for massage therapy through a 3rd party provider out of Hand and Stone in Wexford, PA. Throughout massage school, I learned several techniques. These techniques include Swedish massage, hot stones, stretching, and much more. After massage school, I worked with two companies where I experienced a bit of sports massage by massaging NFL players, runners, and female bodybuilders.

Throughout my career as a licensed massage therapist, I’ve always valued the skill of learning. I’m always learning new techniques, such as trigger point therapy and cupping. In addition to learning new techniques, I am willing to strive to improve every day to help those who may suffer from pain or the daily life stressors. Furthermore, I am excited to help more people to feel good and enjoy their lives to the fullest.

Meet Raphael Dymek

Raphael “Raffi” is a born and raised yinzer; movement and sports have always been an outlet in life. Growing up, I was constantly active playing soccer, football, and running track, inspired by our sports teams. As much as I loved playing sports, the grind to get better for them was just as fun. Love being active and always encourage others to be active as well. But just as great as activity can be, recovery is just as important.

I studied Exercise Science at Pitt and wanted to do more, so I went for my Massage Therapy license afterwards. I focused my studies on helping people recover, heal, and feel their best. I discovered how powerful massage can be in supporting the body. Now I bring that knowledge and passion into every session to make you feel your best.

Whether you’re looking for pain relief, deep tissue, or a relaxing classic massage, my goal is always the same - to make you feel better. Everyone’s body has its own needs, and I love customizing each session to support them.
