I keep all of my client’s workout information in my IPad and write my blog posts on it as well. It’s been a really useful tool for organizing and I love how easy it is to use.
Trader Joe’s Red Veggie Juice
Sometimes if I have a busy day and don’t have time to make something with a lot of nutrients from fruits and vegetables, I make a quick red juice shake with this powder. It has a lot of vitamins and minerals, takes 2 minutes to make, and tastes pretty good. I drink this in between sessions and it also helps curb my appetite.
Psyllium husk is a main ingredient in Metamucil. It is a fiber supplement that has made my day after eating pizza or something heavy much better. I like to say that it helps my digestion work smoother and a nice added benefit is that it also helps fill me up especially if I’m feeling hungry. I can’t be the best trainer if I’m starving, and psyllium husk helps hold me over until I’m done training and can eat some food.
Slingshot Hip Circle
I keep my own personal slingshot hip circle in case I feel like doing a little extra leg work after my workouts or to help me warmup. It’s a fitness tool that travels very easily and I make sure to have that in my bag whenever I end up going out of town or somewhere with minimal equipment.
2 Empty, Refillable Water Bottles
I like to rotate between 2 water bottles when I’m working. I always have one in the fridge while I’m drinking the other one so that I have ice cold water. Staying hydrated is important for overall health and one of the easiest habits to get into to kickstart your health journey.
I choose to take creatine after every workout. Creatine is one of the most studied supplements ever and I’m taking it for it’s benefits in strength building. I go on cycles with it and once I’m done taking it I will cycle off of it for a while.
