Meet personal trainer Will Minnick. He holds a B.S. in Psychology and Kinesiology and is a NASM certified personal trainer with a nutrition certification. Will has 4 years of college baseball experience and is skilled in sport-specific training and performance. He enjoys working with anyone who is serious about improving their health and wellness! He specifically loves working with athletes and kids but also has a wide array of older and middle-aged clients he enjoys training. Will is the type of trainer who has an infectious vibe. His high energy, dedication to his craft and clients, and his positive and exuberant attitude make him fun to be around. He is the perfect trainer for anyone who wishes to get a mental upgrade as well as a physical one.
Will holds himself and his clients to a higher standard. He believes that a coach and trainer’s job is not only to provide a physical upgrade but a mental and spiritual one as well. With his psychology background, he believes that it is unfair only to savage the body while leaving the mind and spirit to weaken. Will believes that true health and wellness means everything about yourself needs to be strong: Mind, body, and spirit. And that is the type of coach and trainer Will wishes to be defined as. He aspires to produce and inspire this philosophy in his clients.
Will’s Goals for Himself and You
“At the end of the day, it’s all about how many people you can positively impact. And if I can reach just one person and make them see something in themselves that they don’t already see, that’s a good day. I’m in the business of lifting people up, not tearing them down. I want to bring the best out of you. And I want to rub off on you so as your best self, you can also bring the best out of others. We must redefine what it means to be a coach and a trainer. It’s much more to me than lifting weights and cardio.. and that’s a goal I’ll achieve at the Pittsburgh Fitness Project.”
