Mindfulness has made quite the buzz lately. Health officials have been talking about it. So have influencers in the health and wellness social media spheres. We even wrote a blog on Mindfulness for Health not too long ago. But what is it exactly?
Mindfulness is the psychological process of bringing one's attention to experiences occurring in the present moment, which can be developed through the practice of meditation and other training. Easier said than done, in today's world, being mindful is extremely difficult. We live in a world of worry and distraction. Too often we find our minds wandering to what has been and what has yet to come.
